We have been running 3.3.7 of VNC but are trying to switch to version 4.
I can install it fine on any Windows 2000 or XP machine on our network
that may or may not have previously had VNC installed. I right click on
the icon in the system tray and choose options. Click the set password
button and give it a password. Click the connections tab and change the
"Accept connections on port" field to 60. This is on a LAN there are no
ports blocked or anything. Port 60 works fine for version 3.3.7

I launch VNC viewer on another pc. Doesn't matter what OS. I fill in
the ip address of the pc with :60 on the end to specify the port. I get
the error message "unable to connect to host: Connection refused
(10061)"

Does anyone know why this message is occuring? I can ping the pc just
fine, and can install 3.3.7 and do the same thing and it works fine.
Only seems to occur when I try to use version 4.

Thanks,
Chris
