Bill, Do you have a firewall on your laptop? I know I had a problem (solved a day or two ago) where I forgot to enable VNC4 on my laptop's ZoneAlarm so I wasn't getting out of the laptop. Once I enabled VNCviewer 4 in ZA, I was golden.
