I have just downloaded and installed VNC under XP and Win98SE without problem
- it just worked :-)

I have a small system that runs Win95 with Winsoc 2 already installed (a newer
version that that
available via the MS download site that you link to). the server installed OK
on this box and runs
OK but I keep getting "connection refused" when I try to connect with the
server.

Hovering the mouse curseor over the VNC icon in the task bar shows "Not
Accepting Connections" (or
words to that effect).

I've tried several things in the options (password/no password(open) and I've
tried connecting to
the Webserver port 5800 from the local machine - all without luck.

A search on the list hasn't revealed anything obvious, thus this posting.

Any help/advice welcome.
Dave
