Trying to get set up to connect an XP machine (as VNC viewer) to an OS X
machine (as VNC server). Both are connected to the same router (cable
gateway/router), have IP addresses assigned by the router. I have a LAN, IP
addresses are 192.168.0.x, and I can ping both machines from either.

However, when I attempt to connect to the OS X machine by using it's network
name, I get the following error message:
"unable to resolve host by name: The reqeusted name is valid and was found in
the database, but it does not have the correct associated data being resolved
for. (11004)"

When I attempt to connect to the OS X machine using it's IP address
(192.168.0.12), I get the following message:
"unable to connect to host: Connection time out (10060)"

Please help. Thanks!
Torin
