Mark,

You need to make sure that you tick the box to install VNC Server in
Service-Mode, (or run the VNC configuration applet manually after
installation) - this is an issue with the current installer, unfortunately.

Regards,

Wez @ RealVNC Ltd.

Subject: Enterprise Trial Edition RegOpenKeyEx Problem

I have just installed the trial version of the Enterprise edition of VNC
4.13

I installed the server on about 15 PCs and on most of them I got this
message during install :-

RegOpenKeyEx (open): The system cannot find the file specified. (2)

Continuing the install seemed to be successful, and it generated the
necessary keys.

When I try to view these particular stations with VNC Viewer 4.13, I get
this message :-

RegOpenKeyEx (open): The system cannot find the file specified. (2) Do you
wish to attempt to reconnect to ww.xx.yy.zz?
        YES NO

If I say Yes, it comes back almost immediately with the same message. If
I say No, the viewer exits immediately. What have I done wrong?

MJ
