John,

The server is Solaris 8 if I remember well. Apparently even if I have "the
big X" under VNC Viewer, the server is not dead: I have checked it with top
command.
I don't understand what happened

Regards

Subject: Problem with vncserver

Hi,

I don't have many experience regarding VNC, but I have an issue with
vncserver.
I use VNC Viewer 4.0 on PC side(XP). vncserver is launched from putty. The
Server is created succesfully on display :X and it is possible to lauch VNC
Viewer and see my X Session.

But after a while, I got a big X as background in VNC Viewer and impossible
to launch Xterm or whatever. The only possibility is to kill the Server and
relauched it

Could you help me
Thanks in advance
