Hi,
Everything was running smoothly until I rebuilt my server (SVR1) due to
system trouble. Now, I can connect to SVR1 using a VNC viewer from my
desktop (PC1). The problem is I want to use VNC Viewer in SVR1 in
listening mode and its not working. I prefer this setup because the VNC
server (SVR2) that I want to connect to is behind a router that doesnt
have port forwarding at the moment and I initiate "Add Clients" from
that VNC server (SVR2) behind the router. In short, SVR1 (rebuilt) will
act as VNC Viewer (Listening) to control SVR2 with VNC Server. Ports
5800 and 5900 are open. After issue issuing "Add Clients" nothing
happens. But, as I said, if I use SVR1 to run VNC Server and connect
from my desktop its working.
What could be the problem? Where should I start looking? Help.
