Not to mention you will need to know what her external IP is at any given
time. An easy way to do this is the use of a free dynamic-DNS client running
on her machine. These can be found by visiting places such as
http://www.no-ip.com, http://www.dyndns.org or other free dynamic DNS
providers. These can be found by Googling or by suggestions of other users
here.

You must port forward the 5900 port to you sisters computer adress(ip) in
the 
router itself...check you router man page do learn how to do that..
