Hi Ramesh. One thing that I've noticed is a great visual indicator to the user when there is an active vnc connection is having 'Remove wallpaper' checked under Options>Desktop. AFAIK, this has traditionally been a speed improvement tweak, but it works for user notification too! I believe it's unchecked by default, so you wouldn't necessarily notice this option unless you were looking for it. I'd recommend turning on 'Remove background pattern' and 'Disable user interface effects' also on that tab. Those three make a pretty big performance difference. hth -Gary -- ___________________________________________________________ Sign-up for Ads Free at Mail.com http://promo.mail.com/adsfreejump.htm _______________________________________________ VNC-List mailing list [email protected] To remove yourself from the list visit: http://www.realvnc.com/mailman/listinfo/vnc-list
