hey "yury", Your activex control is a recompiled altered version of the tightvnc control. It's not simply a "wrapper". A wrapper would need to be a stand alone product compiled seperate from the GPL product for it to be considered a different product. Because you've altered the functionality of the control and you've compiled your changes into the same source as the tightvnc code, your product is NOT just a wrapper.
Steve, I'm sorry that this turned into an attack on you and your product. Unlike you, though, I do think that there is some bad intent in this. "Yury", I don't know Steve and I've never even tried his scanner before so you are sadly mistaken. Even if I was the President of Microsoft, it wouldn't excuse you from violating the GPL. Let's stop playing the identity game and start concerning yourself with complying with the GPL. - "Bob" ;) On Apr 4, 2005 9:51 AM, Yury Averkiev <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > Steve, > we have a strong belief that you are the guy behind all this flame. > And the reason for that is because your VNCScan lucks a built-in VNC viewer > feature. > Sorry, it won't work for you.
