VNC 4 handles all three clipboard mechanisms provided by X, provided that the VNC Config applet is running on the VNC desktop. VNC Config by default assumes that applications know how to use the X clipboard properly, but some applications don't. These application's clipboards will tend to work if xclipboard is running, and not to work otherwise. VNC Config now includes a polling-mode option, to enable it to detect clipboard data from broken applications - enabling this may fix Fabio's problem.
