Hello all,

I am trying to connect from my Windows(home) machine
to my Red Hat Linux(office) machine's Desktop.

When I connect from home, I see a my office desktop
but its very small i.e it does not occupy the entire
screen.
I have tried changing the xstartup script -geometry
but it has not helped.

So today I decided to kill my :0 and start again with
explicitly specifying the geometry

when I do -
vncserver -kill :0
I get -
Can't find file /root/.vnc/officemachine:0.pid
You'll have to kill the Xvnc process manually

But there is no officemachine:0.pid file in my
root/.vnc/ directory
(note that I have logged in as root so I have all
permisions)

??What is happening ?? I am confused ..

Basically I want to run this command
vncserver -geometry 1280x1024 :0

to help me get full screen access of my machine
instead of a small window surronded by a lot of black
space in my VncViewer(on my home Windows machine)

I am unable to do this.

Please help !

Thanks in advance
