Hello,

I've just installed the vnc-4_1_1-sparc_solaris.pkg onto a Solaris 7 box. I
can connect from my windows machine running the 4.1.1 client. My Solaris box
is using XDMCP. When I connect to the server, I type in my userid and then
have to move the mouse to actually see what I've typed. This behavior is
carried all the way through the session, even after I'm logged in.

On a secondary issue, I'm trying to get this setup working through inetd
(currently, I'm creating the session in the /usr/X11/lib/xdm/Xservers file).
The steps I've taken to try and make this work are:

1. modified the /etc/services file with an entries such as: 5950
5950/tcp
2. modified the /etc/inetd.conf file with an entrie such as: 5950
stream tcp nowait nobody /usr/local/bin/Xvnc Xvnc -inetd
-query localhost - once securitytypes=none

After sending a sighup to inetd and testing it out, I'm consistantly getting
prompted for a password, even with the securitytypes=none.

I'd sure appreciate any resolution/suggestions/recommendations!

Ray
