"dlh", The error message you're seeing occurs because the TightVNC project's Xvnc binary requires libjpeg to be installed on the system. You can avoid this requirement by using the standard VNC Server for X instead.
OpenGL is not currently supported by VNC Server for X, although this is something we are looking into.
