Are you using a router? If so, to access either computer from remote you'll
need to forward some ports from the outside world to the local PCs. Check
http://www.portforward.com for details on how to do it. You can also check
http://faq.gotomyvnc.com for VNC-specific tips-n-tricks. Finally, you'll
need to make sure that the Windows XP firewall has an exception for VNC's
ports (5500, 5800 and 5900 -- 5500 is for a "reverse" connection, 5800 is
for the Java viewer [also requires 5900], and 5900 is for the standard VNC
binary viewer.)

Subject: Give me a hand !

Hi,
I have a PC an a laptop. Both have Windows XP professionnal and SuSE 9.3
Pro. I want to join them by ethernet and control them from one of them.
Also; I want to join another monitor to the laptop and want to see my PC
from this monitor. ( I want to switch the keyboard and mouse of the laptop
both for PC and laptop.) Another thing that I consider to do is connecting
to my two machines from another place and another machine with a user name
and password. I have ADSL connection and static IP. I have no information
about using VNC ; i have already tried it but I can't do anything that I
want. Please help me!
