I never got a single reply to this question either, so I'll try one more
time. (I was new to the list and my address might not have been
validated yet.) Any ideas what might be wrong?
I've got my server set so that when I connect, the wallpaper and
background patterns are to be removed. But when I actually connect, the
entire wallpaper is painted, and then only after the entire desktop is
painted, then the background is removed and I get a solid color
background. Any idea why it doesn't remove the background BEFORE
sending all of the info to me, thus slowing down the initial connection?
OS: XP SP2 (on both viewer and server)
VNC: 4.1.1 (on both)
Mickey,
it has similar effects on my side. This is not a bug. However, I don't
know if this behavior could be changed or not...
Hope this helps a bit
Regards
Yann
