Not sure I understand your question, but I'll try to answer it as best I can by explaining how it works... When you attempt to connect to your machine from the internet, you tell VNC you want to connect to another machine. It pops up a box asking for the IP address of the machine you want to connect to. You will then put in your MODEM's IP. If you have everything configured correctly, your modem will know to forward port 5900 to your PC behind the modem/router and forward the traffic back out to your remote PC. What you will need to do on your modem is tell the modem to forward port 5900 on the internet side of the modem to port 5900 on your PC's internal IP address. ie: internet ->Modem ->PC
