Well, thats quite easy - at least the first.
Imagine you put a Mirrow on the opposite of another mirror -what will
you see? What you have seen on your local computer was the image of an
image of an image of an image of an image....
The other thing might be connected to some kind of firewall: Do you use
WinXP SP2? Or something that works as a firewall? if so deactivate it or
open the ports 5800 and 6800 for incoming requests.
