Interesting that the problem is not very persistent.
Sometimes I get the mouse to redraw locally but when I select an item on the
remote desktop it changes back to a dot.
Is there a way to force locally drawn mouse pointer?

David,
The mouse cursor will change from the server cursor's shape to a dot when
either the server's cursor is invisible, or when the viewer has local
cursor
rendering enabled and the server's cursor is at a different position to
the
viewer's.

Subject: Question about cursor icon
Hi,
I am not new to VNC but I am new to making training videos
with it. What I am
trying to do is use it with Camtasia Studio to produce
authentic looking
videos. The problem is though that sometimes the mouse will
change from a
regular arrow to a dot on the screen.
This normally wouldn't be an issue except that it is
difficult for the user to
follow along when they cannot see the mouse.
Is there a way to force the local mouse pointer to look like
the remote VNC
attached computer so I don't have this problem?
Thanks,
David
