Todd,

As far as I'm aware, the Fedora Core folks build their own binary RPMs from our GPL codebase, plus some patches of their own. The fact that the standard binary works but their build doesn't suggests a problem with one of their patches.

I've run into the same problem... and I'm running the latest Fedora Core 4
release of vnc-server:

rpm -qa | grep vnc

vnc-4.1.1-10.1
vnc-server-4.1.1-10.1

Going to the straight RealVNC release (vnc-4_1_1-1) works fine. Is there a
coordination between
Fedora and RealVNC - or is this strictly a Fedora issue??

It looks like you're running an older version of x0vncserver from somewhere.
Can you try running the VNC 4.1.1 version?
