Hi,

I have installed a just downloaded free VNC at home and I have
successfully accessed the server from a second PC in my home LAN (using
192.168.1.2 as target). All the OSs are Win2K.

Then, I have opened the required ports of my ADSL router for the static
address 192.168.1.2.

The test at http://www.realvnc.com/cgi-bin/nettest.cgi returns me the
following successful response:

> The IP address requesting this web page is 62.14.xxx.yyy

> Connecting to port 5900 ... succeeded.

> Waiting for server to send version string...

> Found a server supporting protocol version 3.8.

However, if I try to access the server from the very same second PC
using now 62.14.xxx.yyy, I obtain a "unable to connect to host:
Connection refused (10061)". Pinging 62.14.xxx.yyy is ok.

I have done all the tests with no software firewall active.

I'd appreciate any advice.

Saludos,

Juan Puyol
