You're right, I think that it is just a viewer but they do distribute a
recompiled "SmartCode VNC Server" inside their vnc manager application
with no source code available.  Is that what he's talking about?

BTW, it's still being sold by them and integrated into their commercial
applications. A link to it is on their front page.  The last time that
this discussion came up, it got pretty heated so I think that I'll duck
out, now. :)

The ActiveX control that SmartCode used to sell was a VNC Viewer, not a
server, and in any case shouldn't be available from them any more, as
far as I'm aware.
