What error messages are you getting? Can you telnet to the IP of the server
on port 5900 and get an RFB response? If not, then something is blocking it.
If you're trying to connect over the internet, on the server computer browse
to http://www.gotomyvnc.com and have it scan for servers. That should also
tell you whether you have your firewall exceptions configured correctly.

Hi, does anybody has beeen running the RealVNC  between a xp client and 
a win2003 server?
both are firewalled (the xp machine has firewall exceptions) and as well 
supposly the win2003 machine... the problem is that it just can connect 
to the 2003 server.
any idea?
