I've encountered a bizarre problem. The slrn program under Linux crashes my VNCviewer under XP. That is, when I run slrn in an rxvt window under linux, my local VNCviewer under XP becomes unresponsive. I have to kill it with C-A-D.
XP version: VNC Free viewer edition 4.1.1 Linux version: Xvnc version 3.3.3r2+tight1.1p9 I think the problem is actually on the Linux side, because when I try to reconnect I get a cryptic message about a security failure and an inability to connect. I have to telnet to the Linux machine and kill the slrn process. I have no idea how to debug this further. (Also, just FWIW, a "-version" switch on Xvnc would be really helpful...) -Joel ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Free 35mm lens & digital camera reviews: http://www.exc.com/photography ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- _______________________________________________ VNC-List mailing list [email protected] To remove yourself from the list visit: http://www.realvnc.com/mailman/listinfo/vnc-list
