Not sure if you have specified what OS platform you need. For *nix, you can use x11vnc to share a particular window.

Deer Wez, you wrote: "There are some third-party patches for VNC that do this, but the current VNC Server doesn't do it yet.... Cheers Wez @ RealVNC Ltd. " can you please tell me with which (what a) "third-party patches for VNC" it works? i have listen about 3 such versions Subject: "share a single window via vnc - is here any solution? - does it works?" but they all for me not useable: a) avnc on http://w2.alkit.se/avnc/ it works, but i see two problems: - the performance of the screen refresh is not usable - if the shared window is not in foreground on server it seems unpossible to control the window from the client side b) ultravnc the single window - feature does not works for me and i have listen it does not works by other people too c) VdaccVNB (http://services.simac.be/vnc) "the first VNC featuring ... Single Window mode" impossible for me to access the binary/source/website If you have further information - please tell me best regardsB J.Ufer _______________________________________________ VNC-List mailing list [email protected] To remove yourself from the list visit: http://www.realvnc.com/mailman/listinfo/vnc-list
