Yes. The system tray icon will change to a dark background, at least with the standard (Real) VNC server. There are "hacks" to other versions of VNC which will make that not happen, but for this version of VNC there is no way to hide when VNC is connected. Also, you may experience a sudden sluggishness of your PC when someone connects to monitor.
