I have two computers at two distant locations (we'll call them A and B). They
are not part of a network. Both have VNC installed and, therefore, uses the
internet to communicate. 99% of the time computer A contacts B (i.e., A as
viewer and B as server). Both also have Windows XP firewall activated as well
as routers. Ports, etc. were configured and there was never a problem

I downloaded Google web accelerator (webaccelerator.google.com) on both
computers and now A cannot view B via VNC. I can ping B; however, after
entering the password to try and view B the following pop-up appears "The
connection closed unexpectedly. Do you wish to reconnect to . . . ?"

What can I do (if anything) to resume normal VNC services once again? Thanks.
