I'm just going to take a wild stab in the dark here... it *sounds* like the
time on your linux box and your XP box are not synced. I would recommend
running some sort of time-synch software on both (they both have time-synch
built-in, you know...) and see if that helps.

Subject: Re: VNC Personal - Help
Dear Support,
I have recently downloaded and installed VNC server and viewer on both a
Windows XP system and RedHat Enterprise 3 system. When VNCing from RE3
system to Xp, it works fine. I then use the x0vncserver command to start
the server on linux. When I connect to the linux box from the XP box, the
XP box gets a successful connection but the x0vncserver starts logging the
following errors: Timer: time has moved forwards!. I had initially
tested the VNC Enterprise edition prior to using the personal version and
it worked fine. I did uninstall both enterprise versions from both the XP
and lnux boxes prior to installing the personal version. Your help would
be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance for your help.
Kind Regards
