Arthur:

Heya. Some answers inline; am CC'ing the EchoVNC email list,
which may be a more appropriate place for this thread long-term.

A couple of questions. I would give the enduser the echoWinVNC.exe after
it's configured. I would run EchoVNC on my computer. When a new user
connects to the EchoServer, do I need to know the Partner-ID in order to
connect to it through EchoVNC? A list of connected Partners can't be
retrieved or viewed in EchoVNC?

Good question: in the 1.4 version of EchoVNC, yes, you'll need
to key-in your target partner name. In the 1.5 release, we'll add a GUI
that shows a list of possible partners, so it's more point-and-click.

Also, is there any way for me to further configure echoWinVNC.exe to startup
immediately upon double click?

Right now...it's "two clicks": one to start the application, and
and another to agree to allow the PC to be remoted. You're suggesting to
remove the second-click?

...Or a way to make the settings for server and
password unedittable?

I'll post a pre-release of the 1.2 version of echoWinVNC this
weekend; we added a "lock" capability that many users have requested.

cheers,
Scott
