Hi,
I have a user getting this error trying to run a Linux application in a
RealVNC 4.1.1 server session on Linux:
Failed to initialize an OpenGL view. Please verify that the proper
OpenGL libraries are installed and available for use.
This application works one when run at the console (display :0), but not
in a vncserver. Searching on this turned up the following info:

It's not built by default in RealVNC 4's Xvnc.
#define BuildGlxExt YES
in xc/config/cf/vnc.def enables it.
My question is, does anyone have binaries for Linux for RealVNC 4.1.1
with OpenGL enabled? And, why is it not enabled by default? (What are
the possible issues with enabling it all the time when it may only be
used occasionally?)
Thanks!
- Mark
