Turns out to be a very simple fix and it was self-inflicted - In Sever Options|Connections - "Access Control" - the was a "+" in that area - I thought it was an anomoly, so I removed it - That's when the system quit working. By putting it back in, it adds the value "+255.255.255.255/0.0.0.0" At that point - all is well, and working again.
Thanks to everyone for your help.
