What are the issues of using the VNC viewer on a public access network? Is
it only recommended if you have a VPN or similar encrypted connection or
does VNC have settings to ensure the password and access info is safe and
not available to snoopers?
So far I have not connected very many times to a public network for the
purpose of remoting into the office. Would there be any differences in say
Ultra VNC or one of the other VNC versions out there?
