My Linux machine received the security upgrade from May 12th 2006
through yum as Version 4.1.1 Release 11.fc4. Since that upgrade normal
connection attempts result in "connection closed unexpectedly".
Upgrading the client did not solve the problem. However, I continue to
get some use out of VNC by configuring the client to "Only use protocol
version 3.3" from the Misc tab from the Options... menu. I wonder what
changed and which server configuration might let me work normally again.
