Hi.. I am trying to use the VNC software but facing some problems, please help me out. Problem : I have installed VNC in Linux system and made it as server. The other machine in which VNC is installed is WIndows XP, and made it as client. So, I want to see the desktop of Linux system from the Windows Systems. In Linux system, when I try to run the vncserver by typing "vncserver", it starts the application and a log file is generated and the terminal appears. So, in order to make it listen to the incoming request, I have to run "./x0vncserver" and then from the windows system, I used the vncviewer to input the ip address of the server (Linux system) and then i provided the password that i set in linux system. But the connection gets closed and the error message that appeared on the linux terminal is " SSecurityFactorStandard: password nor PasswordFile params set. SConnection : AuthfailureException : No password configured for VNC Auth. Connections: closed: ip:port (No password configured for VNC Auth)"
