My setup I have a workstation with XP pro SP2 running window firewall The workstation is hard wired to a D-Link DI-524 wireless router.
the router has the latest firmware installed. the SSID is changed and NOT displayed. WPA on. mac filters on so it only allows my desktop, my laptops wifi card and nic, and wife's wifi card and nic access to the internet.
