Hello all, I have a small (3 computer) home network set up to access the internet through a proxy (analog X).
All computers are running winXP Pro and all are accessable through the network. The LAN is manually configured using IP 198.162.000.xxx numbers. The internet computer is connect using "Obtain IP auto". I installed the latest version of RealVNC on all computers and all were initially able to conect to one another. However, aftere installing and running some system optimising programs on the server computer the other computers can no longer connect to it (error message as per subject). However, the server computer can still connect to the others. The programs I installed / ran are; PC Wizaerd 2006, Adv Windows care, Quick startup CCleaner, TuneXP and TweakNow Registry cleaner. I also installed and ran these programs on one of the other computers but the problem did not occur with the other computer (???). I tried waiting on for 5 minutes after reboot (to give time for services to start) and that fast user switching is disabled.
