Sophia is correct, Nathan, except that, in my opinion, it makes more
sense to use a secure connection. This can be done from the computer
running the Viewer by creating and saving a configuration file as
follows...

Using the VNC Viewer, connect to the server by inputting the IP
address and, if applicable, the password.
Once connected, invoke the VNC menu [F8 in my case] and select
"Options"
Click on the "Load / Save" tab
Click "Save As"
Enter a name of your choice and click "Save"
At the warning about including the VNC Password, select "Yes"
Job done

Unless you dictate otherwise, the configuration file will be saved in
your default folder. You may care to go to that folder, right-click on
the new file, and create a shortcut on your desktop.

Kind regards

Bill

 Nathan,

I believe you just have to go to options on the server pc. On the
authentication tab you select No Authentication. If I'm wrong, others
will correct me.

Subject: Connect to another machine without logging on

I have been asked to find out how to access a server that has VNC
without having to type in the user name and password. We can do it on
one workstation but when we copied VNC to another workstation we are
required to enter a user name and password. The guy that setup the
first machine is no longer with the company and no one knows how he
did it.
Everything is internal so there is not a security risk.

Thanks,

Nathan Kane
