I've read the documentation and can't find out how to configure the vnc
server to utilize a single port. I want to access my home machine via a
work machine that runs everything through a proxy so I only have access
to ports 80 and 443. I have forwarded 443 on my home firewall to the pc
running vnc server with the java viewer running on port 443. I get the
initial connection and get the java viewer prompt. I enter <host::443>
and never get a response. If I try this from localhost, it works fine.
I suspect it is still using port 5900 as well but I can figure out how
to configure for single port operation, though I see references to this
in a few places.
