Last week I posted the message below and it was suggested that I use the latest version (4.1.2) which I have done. The problem still occurs with the new version. What happens is that if the PC is shut down it doesn't see to use the port forward number I.E 9503 for example, the fix is still the same; re-set the port to 9500, Apply, re-set to 9503 Apply that and it then works. Could it be something to do with the Registry on the machine not registering the port forward number ? Thanks Again. Hi, I have to link into seven PC's (Windows 2000) via a hub using VNC (Version 4.1.1) The problem I'm getting is a connection problem at random intervals on random machines, the ports are set 5901 to 5907; for example I may fail to contact PC 5903, the only way I can fix it at the moment is to go into the VNC server properties and in the connections tab re-set the port to 5900 and apply the change then re-set the port to 5903. This is a pain as the PC's I'm controlling are 100 miles away!
