Hi

We have a 64-bit server running redhat enterprise linux. Its a new machine
and was running fine when it came. I once ran vncserver (without any
options) as root. Since then, when it is re-started, it has stopped booting
at all. When it boots, it hangs at kudzu, and then the screen first goes
blank and then comes on (not with any linux display but as it comes up when
the machine is powered on - with the monitor company's logo on it). this
happens 3-4 times and then the screen goes blank.

I tried booting this into a single user mode. In this, after it says "INIT:
version x.xx booting"... it starts to give errors "cannot allocate memory"
for every thing it tries to start.

Hope you guys can help. Thanks!

Ritun
