Hello guys,
Well This is my first ever mail in this mailing list. I really like
this software and have heard a lot about it from my friends. Well I tried
installing it in one of my friend's office and i installed the latest
version of it, freshly downloaded from the site.
But to my surprise things were complicated jus as i din think, cause
my friend's experiences were like this VNC thing works very well and its
easy to use. And they are still sticking to the same statement. Well I
installed both ADMIN and VIEWER porting of the VNC on two machines for
testing. but either of machine couldnt grab the list of the network
computers. when i tried to manually connect by giving IP address it said
unable to connect after 30 to 40 secs.
Please help me. The description of the network is as follows.
It is an INTRANET, working under RADIO LINK. There are 5 Terminals connected
thru a netgear switch, each terminal is given a private IP and DNS. like
IP ADD :: 10.20.112.165
SUBNET :: 255.255.255.240
Gateway:: 10.20.112.161
DNS 10.20.0.0
Alternate DNS:: 10.20.112.161
Please help me, thatnks in advance.. :)
