Jose, You need to be running the vncviewer to view the desktop generated by the vncserver. (http://www.realvnc.com/products/free/4.1/winvncviewer.html) If you are doing so, what does the vncviewer say when it fails?

Any Idea why this would be? Is my display possibly not set correctly? Here are the processes I see running on the UNIX host userid 8670 8528 1 16:23:07 pts/ta 0:00 grep vnc userid 8616 1 0 16:22:09 pts/ta 0:00 Xvnc :10 -desktop Jose-VNC -httpd /usr/local/vnc/classes -auth useid 8622 1 0 16:22:12 pts/ta 0:00 vncconfig -iconic I have tried with and without exporting my DISPLAY variable "export DISPLAY=10.0.1.0:0" and neither way it seems to work. HERE IS the output from the "env" command for this userid: $ env Warning! One or more of your selected locales are not available.
