hi, maybe you can try to lower down the speed of the USB LAN card. e.g. instead using 100mbps, try to lower down to 10mbps and try.

sometime i also face this problem for normal LAN connection, if i using 100mbps cannot connected, but once i set to 10mbps USB LAN work fine.

happy testing

Subject: USB network interface ethernet card

I've been using RealVNC for several years. It's worked flawlessly for several years until recently. The installed NIC card "died" in my Dell desktop and I replaced it with a USB ethernet NIC. Ever since then, I can't get to the PC from my laptop like I used to be able to. I've tried to uninstall/reinstall the server. I can ping each device from the other. Not sure where to go from here. Please help if you have any suggestions.

Thanks!
