Can you better define "cannot be used" and "does not work"?

Hi,
I have been browsing through the list but I could not find an answer to my
problem.
I do have a network with Windows Server 2003 machines. Another machine in
the network running Windows NT 4.0 is in charge of an overview display with
3200 x 1600 resolution. The HMI application is running on one of the Windows
Server 2003 where I installed VNC Server. VNC Client is running on Windows
NT machine so I can make full use of 3200 x 1600 resolution. I tried with
trial version and everything was working fine. i could even use Remote
Desktop and VNC on the same machine without any problem.
Later on I bought right license and downloaded latest version and since then
Remote Deskop cannot be used any longer on the machine running VNC server.
Why? Is it normal? Can anyone explain to me what is the difference between
the two versions of VNC I have been using?.
In the following table the two different versions and its results can be
seen:
Machine VNC Server Windows Remote Desktop to connect to Machine
________ ___________ __________________________________________
server1 E4.1.2 Works
server2 E4.2.9 Does not work.
Thanks for help.
