Hi Martin, When you say 'I have to check the "Use only 3.3 protocol" tickbox in order to connect.', what is the behaviour you get if you run VNC Viewer without that option set?
If you find you need to set "Use only 3.3 protocol" then it usually means that the server you are connecting to is not in fact VNC-compatible.
