Until the next release of RealVNC which, I understand, will address
known Vista limitations, you will need to run the server in User mode.

Kind regards

Bill

Subject: VNC service doesnt work on Vista.

Hi,

I installed vista bussines lately and free real vnc edition. Vnc works

normally when I run the server in user mode - I can connect from other

machine.
However when I register it as service and start it ( its started ok -
and works ) - program doesnt show vnc icon on taskbar and when I try
to
connect from remote computer I got password box and then some error
about about session being disconnected or so.
I have window`s firewall service turned off.
I got two vista computers and same error on both machines. Help!
