This happened with most recent and older vnc.
on solaris 10 sparc, using java desktop system, which
is running
gnome-session (thats what is in xstartup)
I can't type any characters at all in any kinds
of windows.
I can use mouse to invoke menus.
When using cde as the desktop, I can type into windows
with no problem.
I searched on various terms in mailing list archive
but could not find anything evident about this.
---> Is this something that needs some configuration
in some gnome related files ?
