Hi,
I just got a new redhat linux box assigned to me that I use realVnc to conect to. I have a problem, every few hours, the Xvnc stops taking mouse events. It is driving me crazy!! I have tried restarting the realVnc client, no luck, using other vnc clients, no luck, playing with the options, turning on and off "Send pointer events to server". Nothing but killing Xvnc and restarting the server works (of course, this kills any processes running in Xvnc). So, it is more than irritating. Have been using VNC for years without ever seeing this. Any ideas on how to reset Xvnc so it will start taking mouse events, or to prevent this behavior in the first place? Keyboard events appear to be fine. I can do a sequence of control characters that get me to the last open program, but that is all.. Any help would be appreciated...
