hi,

I am having a customised linux distribution installed on a thin client with
the following configuration.

AMD LX800
128MB RAM
Xorg version 7.2
The display driver that I am using is from xorg git
http://gitweb.freedesktop.org/?p=xorg/driver/xf86-video-amd.git;a=summary

My xorg.conf file is also attached .

When I try to run vncviewer on this thin client with a "LowColourLevel 0"
option to it (that is 8 colour mode), it first of all connects to the server
in 8 colour mode, but soon after changes the mode to FullColour. The
warnings which I get on running the vncviewer is listed below:

/.mount/root $ vncviewer -LowColourLevel 0 107.108.92.138

TXImage: Using default colormap and visual, TrueColor, depth 24.
CConn: Using pixel format depth 3 (8bpp) rgb111
CConn: Using ZRLE encoding
CConn: Throughput 1273 kbit/s - changing to full colour
CConn: Using pixel format depth 24 (32bpp) little-endian rgb888
CConn: Throughput 4780 kbit/s - changing to hextile encoding
CConn: Using hextile encoding

Any pointers to the solution of the above problem ?

With best regards,
Siddharth Kapoor
