Folks, I've had a quick look around to try and determine what the problem is but, unfortunately, to no avail. Any help welcome!
server: running on 32bit Windows XP a) viewer: running on Core2 Duo running Fedora with 2 monitors and nVidia graphics card using 'TwinView' - I get the initial server window but it terminates immediately with no apparent error [EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ vncviewer ratty.XXX VNC Viewer Free Edition 4.1.2 for X - built Oct 24 2007 08:00:06 Copyright (C) 2002-2005 RealVNC Ltd.
